We are the people of Sema; where a smile is a priceless donation, a cup of tea is a very serious business and to love your neighbor is our bread & butter. Our vision is to bridge people’s hearts and intellects in Arizona for the betterment of our community.
We have worked on charities and relief events in which various volunteers assisted us with the workload - fundraising, kermes, silent auctions, garage sale, bake sale, and drives (clothing, food, blankets and coats.)
Our current partnerships consist of Embrace Relief, Helping Hand, I-Help, Child Crisis Center, and Feed My Starving Children. In addition to our educational aids and religious and cultural awareness gatherings, we also have an outreach committee in which we aim to break through public conflicts and misunderstandings by organizing network events - visits, book club, intra-faith, and neighborhood projects - along with awareness and acknowledgment events - conversation groups and community dinners. We discourage the excuse of “ignorance is bliss” and work to overcome such an idea.
