We have five hours to raise $400 to keep him from jail today.  Your help would be greatly appreciated as it would allow him to get the job he See More

My brother-in-law spent time in prison for accumulated speeding fines but paid his dues. During that time he and his family lost their home as his wife who is disabled due to a disabling disease and also prescription drug addiction for paid, and everything they had. Since getting out he has worked very hard to atone for everything but has found it very hard to get a good paying job with a prison record. He has worked every part-time marketing job that has come available and they have finally been able to move to a somewhat decent place sharing a place with someone else. This had just happened through being able to do the jobs. However, in finding a place to live as they were homeless and could not work enough to also pay his court fines, etc., he has been called into court and will be sent to jail again at 11:00 this morning. $400. is needed by that time to avoid him going to jail again. To me it all seems like injustice. When someone has done their time and lost everything but then since that time has worked all kinds of jobs and finally gotten a place for his family to exist (no furnishings, but can live at least with a roof over their heads) and has followed all the rules and worked hard to get to a point where he can at least feed them skimpily that he can be put back in prison for not being able to pay his fines. He has a good possibility of getting a good job as he has had three positive interviews with a company and waiting to hear but this will destroy any hope he has of getting a job and being able to repay his fines. I would ask for help to give him a chance for his life to turn around for him, his disabled wife and the daughter who lives with them. Sometimes there are injustices for people trying to do their best.
