Started in memory of Hunter Aaron Vondran, HAVlife™ is a Not For Profit 501(C)(3) organization that was established to fund the resources students need to pursue their musical aspirations and athletic goals – just as Hunter did.
Too often, young students are unable to pursue their musical and athletic passions due to the costs associated with these areas. This missed opportunity for our youth represents something that HAVlife™ calls "Lost Potential".
When it comes to youth participation in music, sports and arts education, the benefits are endless! Study after study reveals that youth participation in these activities benefits the social, behavioral and cognitive development of children. Yet many times, music, arts education, and extra-curricular sports programs are the first to go when schools are financially strained.
Working with local school systems, community organizations and generous individuals, HAVlife™ provides scholarships to students to help cover the costs associated with these activities, including sports equipment, musical instruments and summer camp fees. Please join us in celebrating and recognizing the Potential of today's youth, so that no child is left to suffer from a lack of exposure to music, arts or athletics.
Our Goal: Preventing Lost Potential™
Our Mission: To Prevent Lost Potential™ in youth ages 10 to 15 through the support of participation in athletics, music and the arts.
Our Vision: To allow all youth to experience life to the fullest—increasing exposure to positive community influences and enhancing the development of a positive and confident approach to citizenship.
