Save U.S. Pets Foundation was established in 2003 and was based on the fact that each year as many as 100,000 pets in New Jersey were receiving less than the required medical care because of their owners could not afford essential treatments. Too many times euthanasia was the chosen alternative.
The Foundation is run 100% by volunteers. They are the Foundation’s most valuable asset to help save pets’ lives. We welcome volunteers with all skills and interests. While most volunteers are 18 years or older, we welcome those under 18 to work on projects to meet their school’s community service requirements and will provide them with a certificate stating their participation. Let us know if your child’s school would be interested in helping out.
