Fundraiser at Oddfellows!!
February 06, 2017
I know a lot of people are feeling frustrated about the situation in Syria and want to help but are not sure how. Many people want to donate money but don’t know where to put their money so it can truly help the most people. I grew up in the Middle East my entire life My mother works at an international NGO, called Save the Children, which is one of the most active in Syria. Save the Children is currently one of the highest ranked NGOs that are active in the area, and they run 7 free clinics in Syria. They also run the only maternity and infant free clinic in the entire country. They also provide crucial services such as food, warm clothes, medical assistance and psychological assistance to traumatized to children and families escaping the active conflict in Aleppo. This is a non-partisan issue here, regardless of how you feel about immigration or whatnot, these are people in need of help and every cent donated can help.
I started a funding campaign for the NYU community and I can assure you that every single donation can and will go to help those that are most in need. Please give this some thought and donate if you can spare some money
