Rowdy Girl Oatmeal Fundraiser Update
July 13, 2016
BENEFITING: ROWDY GIRL SANCTUARY INC
We are trying to rescue Oatmeal, the blind steer that was written about in the Star-Telegram -http://www.star-telegram.com/news/local/community/fort-worth/fw-stock-show/article58904458.html It's a real long shot, time is short and this is CRITICALLY URGENT. He may have only a day or two, but his rescue is still a possibility. My friend, Renee King-Sonnen, founder of Rowdy Girl Sanctuary in Angleton, Texas has tracked him down from a feed lot to a meat packing plant in Corpus Christi, but HE IS STILL ALIVE!!! If you can help donate towards his possible rescue (we will need to rent a trailer, plus gas from Angleton to Corpus Christi & back), Rowdy Girl will get him to sanctuary, then set him up in his own safe area with cover and everything a blind steer will need to make his life comfortable and happy... and of course all the feed and care once he is rescued. I know the power of the internet and the passion we all have to change this world one person, one animal at a time. Let's shatter all records and find a way to save Oatmeal's life today. Please donate whatever small or large amount that you can, then PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE share this like crazy with all your networks! Who am I? Laura Oatman, author of Whole Earth Diet, owner of Whole Earth Wellness, and a friend and supporter of Rowdy Girl Sanctuary, and Tommy and Renee King-Sonnen. Here is a link to read more about me and my business (not to promote myself, just to let you see that I'm legit!!): http://wholeearthdiet.com More importantly, I have visited Rowdy Girl Sanctuary and I know that they are the real deal. Good hardworking people just trying to save animals. Here is a link to read more about Rowdy Girl sanctuary: http://rowdygirlsanctuary.com Your donations will go towards pulling out all the stops to rescue Oatmeal before it's too late, but with the understanding that it may be too late. Of course let us know your email address and we will keep you updated on the rescue effort as this rescue unfolds...Please know that we are doing everything we can to save Oatmeal, but if the worst happens, your tax-deductible donation will go into a Rowdy Girl fund set up to to save other animals from slaughter, just like Oatmeal! Also, no matter what, a percentage of your tax-deductible donation will also go towards setting up a scholarship fund for other FFA kids so they have options when they have a change of heart when their babies are grown and ready for auction.
