Dearest Friends and Family,

THANK YOU for visiting Pam and Anindya's "running page" as we strive to raise money for Sargam Foundation. Sargam is an endeavor to find, promote, and fund young musical talent that may otherwise go unnoticed. Founded by Anindya's very own, one-in-a-billion mother, this project could not be in more capable, passionate, and understanding hands. Pam became a board member to help get Sargam off its feet last year and we're all incredibly excited for our first big fundraising push...

...THIS WINTER, Pam and Anindya will have the good fortune to get to attend the first Sargam talent search in Kolkata! It will be Pam's first time in India (and Asia), and we will be sure to document and share back everything we can...

....NOW, onto our run, the Hero / Villain 10k dash along the New York Hudson River on October 18th, which will be an important milestone (no pun intended) in more ways than one...

1) Not only did Pam convince Anindya to run a 6 miler (Anindya hates running, people! He finds it "boring", which is a fair defense) but we're 2) getting to train and run together for this unique cause that's near and dear to our hearts, culminating in an event that will be 3) Anindya's first race ever and 4) Pam's debut after taking a year-long hiatus from moving. She's hit the gym a total of thrice in the past year (she has a somewhat demanding job - which is never an excuse, just giving you a realist narrative of past events), all while getting to 5) dress up in some of our favorite superhero apparel. And finally but...

MOST IMPORTANTLY,

6) your donation will directly fund a group of young Indian musicians that demonstrate need, talent, and the perseverance to follow their passion for music. Please check out our donations chart below to learn exactly what your donation amount will buy.

$25 - Funds full travel expenses to final auditions for 1 contestant

$50 - Funds full travel expenses to final auditions for 1 contestant + a family member (contestants will be as young as 16 years old)

$100 - "Standard Plus Sponsor" - Funds 1 of 7 scholarships for finalists that win 4th through 10th place (recognition on our website's Sponsor page)

$250 - "Bronze Sponsor" - 3rd Place Scholarship (recognition on our website's Sponsor page + all our emails and printed materials)

$500 - "Silver Sponsor" - 2nd Place Scholarship (banner at awards dinner with Sponsor's name/logo + full year ad display on the Sargam website + "Silver Sponsor" status on our website + recognition on all our emails and printed materials)

$1,000 - "Gold Sponsor" - 1st Place Scholarship (1st place scholarship given in Sponsor's name/logo + full year ad display on Foundation's website + "Gold Sponsor" status on our website + recognition on all our emails and printed materials)
