Sarah was an energetic, funny, wildly imaginative girl who turned 8 two weeks before being diagnosed with a DIPG brain tumor. She continued to be joyful and excited about life despite needing to use a wheelchair and losing use of her left arm. She had 15 months of fun, friendship, laughter and love before the tumor took her ability to speak, move and swallow. Sarah died on April 3, 2016. We are doing this in her memory and with hope that someday other children will have the chance to survive this disease. This won't happen without a lot of research and research takes money. Research funding for rare tumors like DIPG comes almost entirely from private funding sources like the Michael Mosier Defeat DIPG Foundation. Thank you for your contribution!
