Hello! Youthbuild Charter of California El Monte, a program under the San Gabriel Valley Conservation Corps (SGVCC) is raising money to help homeless individuals. Our students ages 16 to 24, come from low-income and underserved communities. Homelessness and financial hardship is common to some of our students. Many of them understand the burden of housing insecurity.

We are developing a program to distribute free hygiene kits. Once we secure enough kits, our students will distribute them around town and to underfunded homeless shelters. Each kit will include 9-clean wipes, 2-disposable washcloths, 1-nail clipper, 1-comb, 1-razor, 1-toothpaste, 1-deodorant, 1-toothbrush, 1-bar soap and 1 shampoo. Each personal hygiene kit costs five dollars. Our request is that you donate as much or as little as you can. Please help us spread the word of our mission with as many people as possible.
