At two years old, Ryan was diagnosed with Extreme Food Aversion, a condition that caused him to reject food and avoid eating for long periods of time. Variety stepped in to help him with therapy that has helped him find more comfort with food and eat again, getting the nutrition he needs as a growing boy. Thanks to food therapy, his anxiety surrounding meals has diminished and he’s now comfortable sitting at the dinner table with his family. While he still struggles with new foods, Ryan is doing better each day and his limited diet is growing. Although small in stature, smaller than younger brother, Andrew, Ryan has a big heart and both are joining the Variety Ambassador program to raise money for other children in B.C. with special needs. Help Ryan & Andrew help more kids with special needs by donating today. Together we can make a difference!
