The School of Russian Ballet opened its doors in 2010 under the Artistic Direction of Sergiy Mykhaylov and Darya Fedotova both former international principal and soloists of National Ballet of Ukraine, Classical Ballet of Paris, Orlando Ballet and The Sarasota Ballet. They graduated from the prestigious Kiev State Ballet School, one of the world’s best ballet colleges, using the Vaganova (Russian) Method of ballet training. This method is used at all levels of training, ages 3 through adult.
Students of all ages work with our professional instructors in a caring and supportive environment. They are given the opportunity to perform in full-length ballets each year, sharing the stage with international guest artists. They also have the chance to perform in international ballet competitions.
New ballets are vital to the dance world as it moves into the 21st century. This is something that SRB uniquely offer its students. Along with restaging the classics, creating new roles with a choreographer is a rare opportunity that very few schools and even companies have.
The School of Russian Ballet not only enables its students to achieve their full potential as dancers, but we also believe it is important to develop well-rounded human beings with life long friendships and healthy competition.
