We did it again!
April 10, 2017
I'll be running my first marathon ever on April 2nd in Oakland California to support the incredible work of Seeds of Peace and their newly expanded US Program!
The US Session works in Maine, Syracuse, New York City, LA, and Chicago to bridge teens across lines of difference. This program brings together a diverse cohort of high-potential changemakers for a transformative two and a half week experience featuring identity based dialogue as a central component. After camp, Seeds of Peace continues supporting these teens with year-round leadership and skills training. Many have gone on to become leaders in their field such as Rhode Scholars, internationally recognized journalists, entrepreneurs, and UN diplomats, all working to establish sustainable change in their communities.
The costs of bringing one participant to camp from one of our new cities is $3,000. I'm hoping to sponsor two campers and I need your help! To show my commitment, I am contributing the first $100 and I encourage you, in turn, to contribute what you can. No amount is too small! Furthermore, if I reach my $6,000 goal, I'll contribute another $100 to start a fund for a third camper! Your support is appreciated in advance! Feel free to join me in Oakland if you're around!
