In addition to organizing and implementing a first class event, the main goal is to raise money for an outstanding youth organization – the Big Sur International Marathon’s youth fitness program, JUST RUN.
If you, a friend or business would like to sponsor this worthy race, learn about our various levels and the benefits you'll receive learn about our various levels. When you've chosen your Sponsorship Level you can make your contribution online through our secure platform. You may also print out a Sponsor Packet for yourself or distribute to a friend or business.
Your financial assistance and/or in-kind donation will be extensively acknowledged, appreciated by our participants and impact the lives of many children who will benefit from your generosity. Together we can promote fitness, offer a fun sporting event, positively impact the lives of our youth.

Welcome to Run in the Name of Love, a unique event offering runners and walkers the opportunity to honor and pay tribute to an individual who is or was a very special person in their lives.
Participants will enjoy the charm of Carmel-by-the-Sea, its historic sites, the unparalleled natural beauty of the course (with views of sandy white beaches, the dramatic Pacific Ocean, Point Lobos and Pebble Beach) and a memorable finish celebration.
This special event supports an important cause – youth fitness. Proceeds from Run in the Name of Love go to the Big Sur International Marathon’s JUST RUN® youth fitness program which positively impacts the lives of nearly 20,000 children each year.
