BENEFITING: The Hall STEPS Foundation
ORGANIZER: The Hall STEPS Foundation
THE STORY:
As a Physician Assistant student, I am continually amazed by the life-saving treatments and resources we are blessed with in the United States. From IV therapy and medications to the most advanced robotic surgeries and cardiac imaging, our cutting-edge resources allow us to lead healthier and happier lives. However, many around the world lack even the most basic of medical training, resources, or access to clean water, leading to significantly decreased health and life expectancy.
One year ago, I launched my Hall Steps Foundation campaign while training for the Providence Marathon, and today I continue that campaign as I train for the Boston Marathon on April 20th.
Founded by professional runners Ryan and Sara Hall, the Hall Steps Foundation is a non-profit movement to fight global poverty through better health. I encourage you to visit their website and take a look at all of the wonderful work they do.
I see my running as a catalyst for positively impacting the lives of those most in need. I would be honored if you would join me in this effort to fight global poverty and I sincerely thank you for your consideration.
(Please note, past donations appear as the campaign is cumulative from year to year)
Happy running,
Justin
