If any of you know my sister Abbey, she has been at camp the last for years, but becuase of her slick new corporate job, she cannot be a counselor this year. Someone had to carry the Blanchard flag, so read up about this great group of folks.

Royal Family KIDS is about treating people royally, making moments matter and moving forward. In the summer, abused and neglected children from Wayne, Washtenaw and Oakland Counties come to camp for FREE. Over 100 volunteers take time off work and away from their families to let those kids know that they are loved and there is hope. We give them positive memories that can change their course in life forever.
Making positive memories doesn’t stop at camp! Our campers are then matched one-on-one with a mentor staff from camp. We reunite the campers each month at Club, continuing the spirit of camp with themed lessons, activities and camp songs. Their mentor is oftentimes the only consistent person in their lives, reminding them that they are not abandoned.
