I am dancing for The Pink Fund because…I CAN. I have been in the waiting rooms and know there are others who simply can't. If I have been this lucky to survive, been given new eyes to see the world and really live, how could I not try to give that gift to someone else? If there are others who are teetering on giving up hope, why not help them see there are others willing to help them fight?
I was officially diagnosed with Stage One on October 2, 2012 after a self exam only one week earlier.
The most valuable lesson I’ve learned from having breast cancer is…to LIVE THIS LIFE YOU ARE GIVEN. Fear is where you can find strength. Share the support you were given. Love deeper and fight harder. Be fierce and relentless.
Breast cancer awakened me to…how frightening the unknown can be. Once surgeries are over and treatments are done, there is still aftermath - financial, emotional and mental. This brought my gratitude of my friends and family to whole new level.
Your donation will help me reach my $3,000 fundraising goal. Why $3,000? That amount will help The Pink Fund provide #RealHelpNow to one qualified applicant in active treatment to cover her non-medical, basic cost of living expenses for THREE MONTHS. Now imagine those who have been fighting for years.
