Riverdale High School's Fundraiser:

Our goal is to unite as a stronger football team as we bring community awareness regarding drunk driving.  Together, we hope to raise a minimum of $2,100.00 in memory of Timothy Cannon Jr.  Our teammate’s cousin Timothy was tragically killed at the age of 21 by a 19 year old drunk driver. Timothy was changing a tire on the side of the highway during his senior year at Savannah State University.  Later, his parents and sister accepted his degree posthumously.  Prior to attending college Timothy passionately played high school football just as we do today at Riverdale High. By bringing awareness to this great cause, each team member has an opportunity to advance in his love for football, unlike Timothy, as his future was tragically taken away from him due to drunk driving. 

Our Dedication, Our Passion, Our Team:  We are pleased to partner with MADD & the Atlanta Falcons and participate in our 1st annual Run & Walk like MADD 5K. We're excited to bring drunk driving awareness to our team, our family and our community.
