One great event deserves another! The CRC's annual Ring Around the Roses 5K Run-Walk is back for the ninth year -- to help feed people, provide afterschool fun for children and fund services for local seniors.
The Clintonville-Beechwold Community Resources Center is hosting this 5K event, through scenic Whetstone Park. Fun, fitness and fund-raising all come together for this great 5K. We gather families, friends and neighbors to Whetstone Park and the adjacent high school stadium for activities that are as much about fellowship as they are the funds and awareness generated for the CRC.

Whether you are a first-time walker or a diehard runner competing in a 5K every weekend, please consider maximizing your impact on the neighborhood by raising additional funds in support of your race. We're partnering with Crowdrise to make it easy to either set up your own team, which can gather pledges and gifts to support the CRC's work in the community, or to get friends and family to support you as an individual.
All proceeds benefit the CRC's community programs – Choice Food Pantry, Senior Services, Kinship Care, Transportation, Family Services, Kids Club, etc. An easy way to do this is to ask friends, family, and co-workers to sponsor you, $5-$10 per kilometer. Setting up a fundraising page takes less than 5 minutes and is simple to share via Facebook, Twitter, gmail, etc.
The more you share, the bigger our impact can be! If an additional $10 can buy 40 meals (and it does!), just imagine how much $2,000 would help! If you have any questions at all, email Cliff at firstname.lastname@example.org and he'll try to help!
