There has never been a better moment in our lifetime to contribute to the needs of this generation who is most at risk. Your contribution will ripple for years to come in the well-being of our entire community.
The Redmond Senior Center was launched by volunteers over 70 years ago (1949) when Redmond’s population was less than 3000. The Center is the sole resource in Redmond for Meal on Wheels (MOW) services and functions as the “senior service hub” for the area. It is a stand-alone nonprofit solely supported by membership, public and private grants, businesses, occasional special events, donations and countless volunteer resources. It does not receive tax revenues nor is it operated by the City of Redmond or the Redmond Area Parks and Recreation District.
The mission of the Redmond Senior Center is to lead and advocate efforts to provide resources contributing to happier, healthier, and more meaningful senior lives and a stronger community in Redmond.
We partner with a wide range of organizations, agencies and businesses who in part administer complimentary services that augment our efforts with the community’s diversity and inclusion goals. Our members support an increasing desire for diverse and mulit-generational needs brought about from unprecedented growth in the Central Oregon area.
