BENEFITING: American Red Cross
EVENT DATE: Apr 01, 2011
March 11, 2011 marked a terrible tragedy for Japan as the 8.9-measured earthquake and tsunami that hit has left death and destruction in its wake. With thousands of victims killed and even more still missing, the problems in Japan continue to mount. New threats such as nuclear reactors exploding and the fear of future earthquakes add even more danger to the situation.
Please contribute to the relief efforts by giving a few dollars to benefit the American Red Cross. The Red Cross is providing immediate and much needed help to those affected by the earthquake in Japan and all those affected by the tsunami in the Pacific.
The American Red Cross shelters, feeds and provides emotional support to victims of disasters; supplies nearly half of the nation's blood; teaches lifesaving skills; provides international humanitarian aid; and supports military members and their families. The Red Cross is a charitable organization — not a government agency — and depends on volunteers and the generosity of the American public to perform its mission.
