In 2012, I gave up my dream of working at a private law firm because I realized something far more important needed to be done. Survivors of sexual abuse did not have the access to the legal system they needed to create long-term healing and solutions in the aftermath of the abuse. To address this problem, I started Jane Doe Advocacy Center, a non-profit legal service center to help survivors of sexual violence. Now, over 4 years later, I have personally provided over $100,000 in free legal services to over 400 survivors of sexual abuse ranging in age from 3 months to over 60 years. We're not stopping there! This month, I am training a new lawyer in the art of working with survivors so that Jane Doe can continue to expand. As we're making waves in the community, I'd love for you to join our team. Commit to helping survivors of sexual abuse this holiday season by making a one-time tax-deductible donation to survivors of sexual violence. Then, watch your inbox, because I'll tell you a story each month about a person your money has helped. It's a gift that keeps on giving, to yourself and the world around you. Jane Doe Advocacy Center is a registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. Your donations are 100% available as a tax deduction.
