Race to Believe... QC16


The Race To Believe... is about making a difference for what YOU BELIEVE IN!

We want our "Believers" to be able to fundraise for the cause they're passionate about, which is why we have partnered with! After registration, "Believers" will set up an account through their website and can choose one of their over 1.5 MILLION enrolled charities, including MANY local ones, or create a cause of thier own (Such as a sick family member going through a rough time, think GOFUNDME).

The Race To Believe... QC16 is scheduled to be held downtown Davenport, IA on Saturday, October 8th. "Believers" will run in a 10K timed race at 10:30am or a 10K fun Run/Walk/Roll at Noon. Prizes will be awarded for winners in ...the timed race, as well as top-fundraising individuals and teams. If you want to run as a team with friends, family, or co-workers make sure you register as a team on Crowdrise.

"Believers" will receive a Race To Believe... T-Shirt, Water Bottle, Race Bib, and more, to be picked up on Thursday, October 6th, 2016. (Time and Location TBA)

The Mary Patrice Jurisch Race TO BELIEVE... QC16 Is proud to have a MINIMUM of 20% of registration fee's going to Breast Cancer Research in Honor of "Patty". THE MORE BELIEVERS WE HAVE, THE MORE WE WILL BE ABLE TO DONATE!


Race Rules:

No matter if you are an Olympic athlete or rolling in a wheelchair, everyone can participate in the Race to Believe...

No Pet's or Strollers will be allowed in the timed race, however will be allowed in the Fun Run/Walk.

Children under the age of 12 are not required to register and may participate in the Fun Run/Walk, as long as they are accompanied by a guardian over the age of 18.

If you bring your dog, you MUST clean up after them.

Walkers, please remember to stay to the right side of the course, to allow runners to pass you. The bike path will remain open for the public.

We do not recommend the use of headphones for safety concerns, however they are permitted at your own risk.



Remember, you will be setting up a fundraising page for whatever YOU believe in!

There is no minimum fundraising requirement but we recommend you aim for at least $100.

Reach out to your family, friends, co-workers, teachers, and anyone you can think of. Just remember every dollar counts, so even if they can only donate $10, that will you get you that much closer to your goal. Prizes will be awarded to top fundraising individuals and teams!

Refunds will be handled on a case by case basis, and determined by Odie O Events.
