The North Carolina Community Action Association (NCCAA) is a non-partisan, statewide association of 40 nonprofit agencies. North Carolina’s Community Action Agencies provide comprehensive services to enable our state’s most vulnerable families – the elderly, disabled and low-income–to achieve self-sufficiency and independence from public programs.
Where Funds Raised Go? A portion of the funds raised through The Race 4 Change will support the NCCAA as we continue to provide training, support, and resources to North Carolina’s community action agencies. In fact, our mission is to “empower agencies to help communities thrive.” Funds will also be used to directly impact low-income North Carolinians. For example, an agency seeking to implement a new initiative which will generate income for the benefit of more families and communities may be eligible to receive funds generated by The Race 4 Change®.
