Quechua Benefit’s mission is to empower the Quechua people in the highlands of Peru through educational programs, medical care, efficient farming practices, and social justice programs. More than 120 at-risk children in grades K-12 are receiving a first quality education at Casa Chapi School. Quechua Benefit is working with strategic partners in Peru to decrease the rate of anemia from nearly 50% among pregnant women and children to less than 20%. Alpacas are the main source of income for highland people, and our livestock husbandry initiatives assist farmers in providing for their families.
