BENEFITING: ARKANSAS COALITION AGAINST DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
The ACADV is a non-profit organization working to eliminate domestic violence through education, advocacy, capacity building, legislation, and providing resources for victims of domestic violence in the State of Arkansas.
Our Coalition consists of 31 Shelter Members. Our organization was established in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1981. It has been through the generous gifts from our supporters, members, and community partners that we can continue to serve ALL victims of domestic violence.
Women, Men, and Children of all ages, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, ethnic background, and socio-economic status suffer from domestic violence. The Bureau of Justice reported in 2013, that 10% of the U.S. Population is affected by domestic violence. That is approximately 32 Million Americans.
