Funding the Ozark Trail Association(OTA) is vitally important to the cause of maintaining and preserving an outstanding recreational resource in Missouri. The Ozark Trail is a true treasure in the central Midwest. It offers hiking and backpacking opportunities over all its existing sections. A majority of the trail is in the Mark Twain National Forest which offers opportunities for equestrians and mountain bikers. The Ozark Trail Association is a volunteer based, low overhead, cost efficient non-profit that works closely with the government agencies that own and operate the trail to insure the trail remains open for all authorized users. The OTA works to develop, maintain, preserve, promote, and protect the rugged natural beauty of the Ozark Trail. The OTA's volunteer outings on the trail are in themselves a valuable public service allowing families and individuals to make significant contributions to the public good in a fun and safety oriented events. Your financial support will insure these events continue and that OTA can continue to fulfill its mission.
