Since 2018, the PoWĂ Foundation (formerly known as the Brax Live Foundation) has been helping communities in today’s digitally connected world. We believe that the most important connection is the human connection and we are firmly committed to strengthening it whenever possible. In particular, impoverished and disenfranchised groups often are particularly left behind in today’s digital economy. Our projects focus on providing greater access, training and support to help these groups live better lives in the new digital economy.
In regards to Neo Natal Abstinence Syndrome, some areas of the US show 1 of 4 babies are born addicted to opioids. The cost for treatment of NAS babies often 10 to 20 times that of normal births. Even after effective treatment their road in life is severely hampered.
We, at the PoWĂ Foundation, have created a formula for success in regards to supporting those affected by NeoNatal Absence Syndrome. In the form of an app, our telehealth solutions, both HIPPA and CFR42 compliant, connects volunteers, doctors, and parents to a safe, secure, and collaborative platform.
