Poodle Rescue of Houston, at 13302 Schroeder Rd., saves and adopts out about 800 dogs per year. With your help, we can reduce Houston's abandoned pet population and save more dogs. Since 2006, PRH has been rescuing and rehabilitating dogs with some of the most challenging issues, such as heartworm disease, mammary tumors, skin issues and orthopedic injuries. PRH does not compensate any board member or volunteers: actually, both comprise our biggest donor base. We need your help to continue our lifesaving work, providing medical care, shelter and food, and loving socialization to get dogs ready for adoption to qualified homes.
With your donation the dogs that come to the shelter can be helped and healed, then be adopted and help them live a better life. The money we raise will help the shelter so much, from neutering/spaying dogs (it costs from $60 for the males and $65 for females); heartworm treatment; expand our clinic; buy a x-ray machine;
