Pike County Partnership Against Domestic Violence (PCPADV) offers survivor focused advocacy. Clients are educated about their rights and options. Survivors can then make choices about steps to take to achieve safety and empowerment. PCPADV strives to eliminate barriers by offering a variety of services and necessary referrals so that clients and their children can live independent, violence free lives. Pike County Partnership Against Domestic Violence is the only victim service provider for domestic violence and sexual assault victims located in Pike County. Pike County is located in the Appalachian region of Southern Ohio. Our county is comprised of a rural population, estimated in 2010 at 28,709. A staggering 18.7 % of Pike Co. residents’ income is below the poverty line. We believe that people should be able to understand their rights and live a violence free life.
