This is my third and final year of rowing at LGRC, and to be completely honest, it has changed my life. This sport and this club have taught me so many things that you can not learn in school. I have been taught physical and mental dicipline, and I have come a long way in both these aspects. However, the most important thing I have learned is the virtue of putting the needs of the team above my own wants and desires. It has also been the hardest to achieve. An example of this is when I worked with LGRC's Row to Recovery Program (R2R) where I get to help cancer patients get their physical independance back, and they came such a long way from where they started. I have created this fundraiser as my team needs my help to raise funds to continue the awesome work that we have been doing, and I am more than happy to oblige. This is my final year of rowing for LGRC, and I would like to be able to help the club as much as I can before my days here are done. Any support is very much appreciated, and I thank you for helping us continue our misson and helping us get faster. GO LGRC!
