BENEFITING: PROGRESSIVE ANIMAL WELFARE SOCIETY INC
Who is PAWS?
PAWS is people helping animals. Like you, we understand that animals enrich our lives. We also know they cannot speak for themselves and need protection. That is why PAWS brings people together to ensure animals are respected, safe and have a voice.
Our Companion Animal Services and Humane Education Program primarily serve the communities in King and Snohomish Counties, while the work of the Wildlife Center serves the entire state of Washington, and beyond. Through our three major program areas, PAWS reaches thousands of members of our community and helps more than 8,500 animals each year.
Since we were established in 1967, we have:
United more than 180,000 companion animals with loving families;
Cared for over 130,000 injured and orphaned wild animals representing 260 different species including Western Pond Turtles, Pileated Woodpeckers, Harbor Seals and Black Bears;
And made the world a better place for countless others through advocacy and education.
