Pat Mac's Pack Crawl for a Cause
EVENT DATE: Dec 11, 2015
Please support your favorite participant in this year's Pat Mac's Pack Second Annual "Crawl for a Cause." On December 11, this year's crawlers will brave the cold Chicago weather to spread holiday cheer at four lucky Chicago haunts. We will challenge ourselves to walk at least one mile in an effort to raise awareness and raise money for Pat Mac's Pack (and perhaps we'll enjoy a few cold beverages along the way!). Trust us...no one will be able to ignore our festive crew of crawlers as we spread the word at places like Emerald Loop, the Walnut Room and Millennium Park.
Pat Mac’s Pack, Inc. is a charitable organization dedicated to raising funds to support pediatric brain tumor research and to support families dealing with pediatric brain tumors. The organization is formed in memory of Patrick Thomas McNamara, who battled brain tumors for 11 years before he passed away in 2011 at the age of 13. His family and friends watched him suffer and want to do what they can to alleviate the suffering of other young brain tumor patients.
To fulfill the mission of funding pediatric brain cancer research, Pat Mac’s Pack will support various projects including cutting edge drug research and development, clinical trials, and novel medical and surgical procedures. Pat Mac's Pack will also provide funds and services to young cancer patients and their families to help lessen the difficulties families confront when struggling with this horrible disease.
