One in three women will be the victim of intimate partner violence in her lifetime.*
She needs your help!
Since 2002, Partners for Women and Justice has helped nearly 4,000 victims and survivors of domestic violence. We have the chance to help even more through the Purple Purse Challenge, a friendly fundraising competition among charities that support domestic violence victims, in which $100,000 is at stake. But without your help this chance may slip away.
The vast majority of domestic violence victims go into court on their own without knowing their rights or the relief to which they are entitled. We help to fill this void by providing free legal assistance to low income domestic violence victims seeking final restraining orders and orders for child support. Don’t underestimate the impact that a successful outcome in court can have on the life of a victim! A restraining order can provide safety, and a support award can provide financial security. Both can lay the foundation for empowerment of victims and survivors – a crucial first step in breaking the cycle of violence.
Don’t miss this opportunity to add another chapter to Partners’ story and to the story of hundreds of victims and survivors of domestic violence! Donate now and your donation will count for more – a chance for Partners to win $100,000! More money means more help for victims!
“Thank you for a wonderful life. Keep up the fantastic work on behalf of those of us who cannot fight for ourselves.”
