Maddie Oscarson wrote -Pan Bila is an inspiring organization in Burkina Faso, West Africa. It is a safe haven for girls of many ages, that were involved in/with sex trafficking, abuse, forced into prostitution, living on the streets, etc. Many of the girls are pregnant and/or have children already from their horrific pasts. Pan Bila is very limited on space, as the few buildings they have are temporary mud buildings slowly crumbling away. The goal is to not only create more safe dorm buildings, but also buy more land so they are able to save the lives of more girls and children. By purchasing more land and with more money, Pan Bila would have the opportunity to build more rooms to take in more girls, as well as add activities to the site such as sewing and farming. This way the girls could learn, allowing them to be able to support themselves and their kids when they graduate the program and are off on their own. The money will also help with medical bills, as Pan Bila gives the girls the opportunity to go to a hospital to give birth, instead of the streets, which is life threatening to the mother and child. I am also holding a series of fundraisers to reach a grand goal of $70,000. This is just a start. Your donation will save lives and help make Burkina a better place, especially for the innocent girls and kids fighting for their lives.
