BENEFITING: American Red Cross
EVENT DATE: May 25, 2013
On May 25th, I will be doing the inaugural California 100 Mile Paddle.
In light of the recent tornado disaster in Oklahoma, I am raising funds for the American Red Cross to benefit victims from this horrific event. In the past, I have done several fundraisers in conjuction with my endurance competitions. This has always given the event much more meaning and purpose to me when the result benefits others.
This paddle starts in Redding, California and goes down the Sacramento River 100 miles, finishing near Chico. There are 101 entrants, and while most people will be in surf skis and kayaks, there will be 6 of us doing it on stand up paddle boards!
I would very much appreciate your support in this fundraiser and hope that you will donate to those whose lives have been impacted by this devastating disaster. As I have always said in past fundraisers, no amount is too small; every dollar counts!
