Help me raise money for OAR-Organization for Autism Research through Tough Mudder! As a competitive athlete I will complete the Tough Mudder Run in hopes to raise a minimum of $500 to help fund research and other assistance for Autism. 

Autism is a serious developmental disorder that impairs the ability to communicate and interact with others. Autism effects 1/64 children in the US with a higher prevalence in boys. As I've become more aware of this disorder I've realized Autism is very much misunderstood. OAR helps in many ways to assist the community and individuals with autism. OAR offers resources for parents, siblings, and educators. Families are able to take advantage of sibling support and other kinds of emotional and educational support. OAR provides scholarship opportunities to individuals diagnosed with autism so they are more able to attend college, technical schools, trade schools, life skill programs, etc. Along with scholarships OAR also offers opportunities to hire individuals with autism, thus, enhancing overall quality of life.
