Operation Hammond is an international non-profit organization within the anime, sci-fi, fantasy, and pop-culture convention communities. We are a group of like-minded individuals dedicated to bringing awareness of first aid, emergency preparedness, and training to the attendees and staff of the events we serve.
Our members and senior staff have the experience, knowledge, and equipment to effectively address medical emergencies, social needs, and other unique requirements of pop-culture events and conventions. We are a social medical organization operating under the certification of both the American Red Cross and the American Safety & Health Institute.
The communities we serve require unique social, logistical, and specialized services. We shine brightest when we are fulfilling the first aid needs of a large convention, surrounded by passionate fans cosplaying as their favorite movie, anime, or video game heroes. We are nerds helping nerds in times of need.
Operation Hammond is based in the Boston area, and primarily serves New England, the Mid-Atlantic, and parts of Canada. We’re always looking to share our services with new partners, and will go wherever we’re needed.
