Hello Everyone, Olivia has been born with cleftlip. At first, we did not believe the doctor even though we have been warned about the possibility of this deformity. We were very emotional when we first welcomed our newborn little girl. As it occured later, not only the lip but also soft and hard palate were cleft. Little Oliwia will have to face several costly surgeries intensive care treatment and continuous orthodontist's, phoniatrist's and speech therapist's consultations . And this is just the tip of financial iceberg... Our friends and family are doing their best to support us , however lengthy treatment exeeds our home finances. But we are not giving up! When it was obvious that little Oliwia can only be feed by special teat I have decided to resign from my maternity leave in order to earn extra money. Whenever it's possible we are always signing up for overtime and take turns to take care for our baby. We had no chance to oversee upcoming costs and we have to pay for sugeries and treatments ourselves. We still need $2000 for the first surgery, not to mention costly medicines and ointments that would ease the pain on baby's face after surgery. The doctor let us know that our time is limited by 'dental primordia', best at the age of 6 or 7 months old. Time is running out and we would kindly beg you for your support and understanding. We have never thought that we would be in need to ask for help but we trust that it will be only thanks to YOUR help little Oliwia will undergo her first surgery, recover to full health and will have normal childhood she deserves. We are deeply appreciative of anyone who supports our cause! Every penny counts! THANK YOU! Mom and Dad
