Well, as my license plate on my car says, “SRFBECA.”
I live for the Ocean, the Surf, the Wildlife within it and everything the ocean encompasses.
Many of you know me pretty well and know how passionate I am about our Earth.
My passion for the Ocean stemmed from my grandfather, we called him “Grandpa Beach” because that is where he ALWAYS was and ALWAYS lived.
As a little girl, he would always take me to the beach; show me the beauties of it and why it was so important to protect it.
My Grandpa educated me on the wildlife that lives within the ocean, the reefs which are also living in the ocean and the sea creatures that depend on the reefs within the ocean to survive.
I am out in the water surfing and swimming at least once a week 365 days a year. Being in the ocean as much as I am, I see the devastating effects of what we as humans are unintentionally doing to it. I do my best to enlighten people every day with what I see like garbage from other countries floating in the water, it REALLY pulls on my heart strings. I see a substantial amount of what the effects of how we live affect our ecosystem.
From our oceans to our glaciers, to our mountains, to the air we breathe every minute of every day. I am doing everything in my power to raise as much money as possible for the “REEF CHECK FOUNDATION.” He volunteered and helped with several foundations accompanying our Oceans. This is why I am so involved as well.
I am a part of several organizations such as Reef Check, Surfrider Foundation, Save Our Seas Foundation, Sea Turtle Foundation, The Sea Turtle Restoration Project and Heal the Bay.
Winning this trip would be an experience of a lifetime and a dream come true for me.
To be able to help spread the knowledge I have and heighten the awareness to everyone all over the world would be priceless.
More than the opportunity to be a part of the Oakley Team for the adventure and participation to Bali, IT IS FOR THE CAUSE ITSELF!
I would love more than anything to receive help from you and I would be forever greatful!
Whether it is a monetary donation from you (every single dollar helps), spreading the word to friends and family to help donate to my page, posting on your facebook, twitter, pintrest, forwarding this email, ANYTHING helps!
I have until the 31st of May to collect as much as humanly possible!
Thank you so much for your care and support!
Hugs, Love and Surf,
