Over the last 9-months my wife Stefania and I have been training for the Detroit Marathon with one goal in mind, raise $10k for Children's Center of Detroit. The Children’s Center is a non-profit that relies on community partners and individuals like YOU and ME to bridge the gap between for the Government reimburses and what children really need to heal, grow, and thrive.
To kick this off right, Stefania and I are donating $250 of our own money. For anyone willing to match us, we will place your name on the back or our race day t-shirts.
Donation levels are as follows:
$50 – The Starting Gun Donor: For $50 you can help purchase food and individualized program supplies. For your contribution, we will send you a thank you email for your participation and be added to our email list for updates on the race day experience
$100 – The Mid-Run Donor: For $100 you can help in the purchase of Picture Exchange Communication (PECS) books to help non-vocal children communicate their needs. For your contribution, we will mail you a thank you letter from The Children's Center and add your email to our update list for the running of the race.
$250 – Blue Ribbon Donor: For $250 you can help assist in the purchase of iPads - a big incentive for teaching students and an alternative form of visual learning. For your contribution, you will be added to our race day T-shirts, will receive a mailed thank you letter, and be added to our email list for updates on the race day experience.
$500 – Gold Metal Donor: For $500 you can help assist in providing testing supplies and new tools for learning and skill building. For your contribution, you will receive an exclusive post-event tour of the Early Behavioral Intervention (EIBI) classrooms, added to our race day T-shirts, will receive a mailed thank you letter, and be added to our email list for updates on the race day experience.
