Our Sales team is hoping to hit a new record for our team and raise $15,000 to Donate to our company wide fundraiser. Last year we were able to raise $10,875. Help us crush this goal!
The Evergreen School District Family & Community Resource Center provides support to thousands of families and children in need in the form of food, clothing, housing, parental support, child care, counseling services, medical care, legal assistance and so much more. Here at DiscoverOrg, this is a cause we are incredibly passionate about. Every year we focus our efforts towards this cause for the entire month of November.
Here is our story:
In 2015, when DiscoverOrg had barely 150 employees, they sought out to find a charity in need of some holiday spirit and they ran a small donation drive collecting toys for the children of the Evergreen School District through the Family & Community Resource Center. With that donation drive, DiscoverOrg found a community of children and families in an incredible need of the most essential items that many of us take for granted. In 2016, when DiscoverOrg barely had 300 employees, we started our first ever competitive donation drive in an effort to take our support to the next level. In traditional DiscoverOrg fashion, the competition sparked out of control and with the help of CEO Henry Schuck matching dollar for dollar, we presented the Family & Community Resource Center with a $40,000 check. The next year, DiscoverOrg came back even stronger with a nearly $80,000 check, and then blew it out of the water in 2018 with a $140,000 check. This donation drive has quickly become a pillar of DiscoverOrg culture, and this year we are incredibly excited to join together as the ZoomInfo team and achieve even more, to reach more than just our community in Vancouver, and to truly make a difference for the children and families that need us. Below are just a few of the stories sharing how our funds have been used, from as small as children needing a new pair of shoes to as huge as helping a mother fleeing from domestic abuse.
