Hello, my name is Zena Blechar and I am so excited to be in the Nutcracker this year! I will be a Party Girl and Bon Bon (Gingersnap) in all of the shows, and an Angel in a few of the performances (12/8 1pm, 12/9 1pm, 12/14 6:30pm, & 12/15 6:30pm). Now that I am back in Colorado I am dancing at the Colorado Conservatory of Dance (CCD) in Broomfield, CO. This is where I began ballet when I was only 4! Last year I was a Little Mouse in the Nutcracker in California. This year I am very excited to be able to perform in the Nutcracker in front of my friends and family in Colorado.
Dance means so much to me. I love performing on stage, and it is my favorite part. I have worked very hard to be in the Nutcracker and always try my best to improve. My goal is to dance en pointe one day.
The CCD is a non-profit supporting dance in my community. Fundraising is an integral part of making their mission a reality. I am excited to help our studio reach our goal this year because I believe in what they do. I love dancing and I want other people who also love it to be able to dance regardless of money. I want all of our dancing dreams to come true. With your support this is possible.
To help reach my goals I have come up with some prizes for you for donating. If you donate $50 I will send you a picture magnet of me in one of my Nutcracker costumes. If you donate $100 I will send you the magnet plus I will custom paint a Nutcracker ornament and mail/deliver it to you. If I reach my $1500 goal my dad will dress up in a tutu and dance for 60 seconds of glory, which will be recorded for all of you to enjoy!

Don't forget to come watch the Nutcracker Performance too! We will be performing at the Performing Arts Complex at PCS in Denver, CO on December 8, 9, 15, & 16. I cannot wait for all of these performances and I hope to see you there!
