Dear Family, Friends and Clients,
As many of you know, I ran my first half marathon last year and have decided to try to beat my time last year and do this crazy thing again. This year, I am also raising money for a cause very close to me, Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters of Los Angeles (JBBBSLA). I have been a big brother to Leo (photo attached) for more than three incredibly rewarding years now, and have gotten more out of this experience than I ever could have imagined.
Leo was born in Ukraine and moved here at a young age. When he was only in elementary school, his father tragically passed away at early age. Leo and his sister were left with their mother as the sole provider and far away from their family. Leo’s mom works endlessly to give her children a good life, but Leo had no male figures in his life prior to joining Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters. I have been honored to play such a big role in his early high school years and am grateful to the organization and to Leo!
This year my wife Skylar and I will be making a donation to Jewish Big Brothers and Big Sisters in the amount of $5,000. I am reaching out to see if you will help me match this donation alongside my half marathon in Malibu coming up on November 3rd. I have less than a month to go to not only run as much as I can but also to raise money for such an extraordinary cause between now and then.
You philanthropic gift (no matter how small) makes an incredible impact on the lives of so many children, who face many challenging situations and need support.
Thank you for believing in, inspiring and supporting their potential. Your impact affects these children today – and changes their future!
