The AGBU Women’s Empowerment Program is designed to transform the lives of individual women, contribute to the broader women’s movement in Armenia, break down barriers and accelerate social change across the country.
The program gives participants the mechanisms and tools to address gender and opportunity inequalities, encourage participation in all spheres of society, and explore ways to become financially independent, all while helping advance Armenia. It also aims to provide a variety of opportunities and access to valuable support systems to educate, enlighten, uplift, and empower women and simultaneously, their households, communities and the nation.
With donor support, AGBU can expand the AGBU Women’s Empowerment Program and extend its role as an effective catalyst for sweeping changes in Armenia. The more resources we have, the more women and girls we can help.
Your contribution as a cyclist, fundraiser and/or donor will ensure critical program support and help raise awareness about women’s rights violations.
