Thank you for visiting my 100 hole hike page. On Friday, October 11th I will be playing (walking) 100 holes of golf to draw attention to and raise money for Youth on Course. This will be my fist year attempting such a feat, but I’ll have 15 other dedicated Youth On Course supporters hiking with me at San Jose Country Club. Your donation will go directly help kids get out on the golf course. No amount is too small or too large!
YOC is helping kids gain access to the game of golf through its $5 or less access program, mentorship opportunities through the Caddie Academy and college scholarships. The Youth On Course program is now in 30 states and two countries. (Shout out to my Canadian friends!)
Golf has meant so much to me through the years, but I didn’t realize the impact it would have until I had my first corporate job and the CEO asked me to play in his foursome at a large industry event. While I was out on the course networking with other top executives from around the country, my newly hired colleagues were back in their cubicles wondering where I was 😊.
I have met many young people who have participated in the Youth On Course program and I’ve seen it lead to college scholarships and other networking opportunities, all while helping build fundamentals in a sport that they can play for years to come. Ultimately this program can change lives. Please help me and be a part of giving the next generation an opportunity to put down their phones and get outside to learn new skills that would otherwise be out of their grasps.
Thank you so much for your consideration to help these kids!
