Golf teaches important social, mental, and physical skills and each round is filled with learning potential. Providing youth with access to affordable golf is all what September 30th will be about.
Mark Shone will be playing 100 holes of golf in one day (walking!) to support Youth on Course and needs your support!
On September 30, I will be participating in a Hundred Hole Hike challenge to raise money and awareness for Youth on Course, which provides its members with access to golf for $5 or less, summer jobs through caddie and internship programs, and access to higher education through college scholarships.
Now in its 13th year, Youth on Course is expanding nationally and currently operates in 25 states, serves over 31,000 youth members, and provides access to affordable golf at 830+ facilities nation-wide.
To support Youth on Course, you can pledge any amount for each hole of golf I play. For example, if you pledge $1 per hole and I complete 100 holes, that’s $100 towards Youth on Course. I will be playing from sunup to sundown, walking 20+ miles, and taking hundreds of swings. It will be a fun, but challenging day and your backing will help keep me going!
Furthermore, Shone Asset Management will be matching the first $5,000 donated! Let's try to make this happen!
