For those that know me, my ideal weather condition would be 85F with 80% humidity. Anything lower than that is considered cold in my eyes. However, on March 3rd I will be (swim) suiting up and jumping in the chilly waters of Lake Michigan to raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics Chicago.
I challenge everybody that's read this far to consider joining in on the adventure and plunging with my team Young, Wild, and Freeze on March 3rd! For those of you that would prefer to support without making a splash, please consider a making a monetary donation below.
Over 7,500 Special Olympians compete year-round in the City of Chicago and have the opportunity to acomplish personal goals, discover new strengths, and acheive success.
All funds raised will benefit the Special Olympics Chicago athletes, covering program costs such as transportation, sports equipment, team uniforms and food.
Make the #PolarPromise and register for the Chicago Polar Plunge today. See you Sunday, March 3rd, 2019!
