Last March I became a certified yoga instructor by completing 200 hours of teacher training. It was a life transforming experience. Yoga is so important in my life now and I love to share it with friends and family.
I came across a saying recently, "Do good. Bring friends." I would like to do just that with sharing a 60-minute Slow Flow Yoga practice for my friends and family to raise money for the American Heart Association.
I want to do this not only because February is Heart Health Awareness month but also to honor my dad who passed away in 2016 from heart disease. He was an amazing man, kind and patient and was always there for others. Even though he passed away from heart disease, I know that money raised through the AHA helped with medical advances that definitely prolonged his life, and to that we were all so grateful.
