Welcome to Josh Lanphear's fundraising page for the 2021 Crossing for Cystic Fibrosis!
This year is Josh's 4th time paddle boarding 80 miles across the Gulf Stream from Bimini, The Bahamas to Florida. Josh's support crew consists of 3-year vets Capt. Jim Brown and First Mate Olin Hershberger. Josh, Jim and Olin have been crossing together since 2017! For the first time, Josh will also be crewed by his partner Talia Schizzano. Thank you for supporting Josh's fundraising efforts for the Piper's Angels Foundation! All donations directly support the Cystic Fibrosis community!
The story of Piper's Angels Foundation begins in 2013 with the foundation's first major fundraiser, Crossing For A Cure, to help raise money and ensure a long, healthy life for a now dear friend's daughter, who suffers from cystic fibrosis. Fast forward to 2017, and I'm first introduced to PAF and the crossing. Little did I know how this community would rock my world. The unconditional love and gratitude shared amongst this army of angels is beyond measure, and the compassion of this community is unwaiverering. To be apart of this event, this community-whether as a volunteer, sponsor, spectator, friend or family member-is the greatest privilege I've been lucky enough to experience. With the support of ANY donation, we can continue to provide immediate financial relief to CF families, and leave an everlasting footprint on the lives of those who need it the most.
Here- we inspire EVERY breath.
