MOST BLESSED SACRAMENT-Franklin Lakes
My Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
For a time, we will not be able to be around the Lord’s table together. Nevertheless, we are always connected.
In Chapter 15 of Saint John’s Gospel, Jesus reminds us that he is the vine and we are the branches. In this chapter, he urges his disciples to remain in him as he remains in us. So for now, let us be consoled and encouraged by Jesus’ words: "Remain in me, as I remain in you. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask for whatever you want, and it will be done for you."
Our Mission Statement indicates that our parish is called to serve and support "those within and beyond our parish...as we recognize that each of us is called to be a witness to God's love in our world."
In order to help us accomplish that mission, your financial support of Most Blessed Sacrament is imperative. Your stewardship funds the necessary day to day operations of the parish, its numerous ministries and outreach programs, and the critical expenses associated with it. Without your financial support, we will have a very difficult time maintaining the work of the Church of the Most Blessed Sacrament. Please accept my gratitude for your generous assistance and cooperation.
Yes, although separated for now, together we can remain in the Lord through our prayerful solidarity and by relying on our baptismal gifts of faith, hope, and love. In this spirit, then, we will always be “MBS strong”!
Through the intercession of Saint Joseph and Mary, our Good Mother, may God bless us all.
Sincerely,
Father John

The Archdiocese of Newark
Welcome. The Archdiocese of Newark is coordinating with the team at GoFundMe to provide one online location for the faithful to support the critical needs of their own parish (through this page) or other parish communities (through the Parishes in Need fund). The faithful may also contribute through their usual channels (e.g., envelopes, other online giving, the Annual Appeal).
Please consider a tax-deductible contribution to your parish on the parish’s GoFundMe page, or to the Parishes in Need fund, which will be used to conduct outreach to those in need and support those communities struggling to continue to pay their employees and church utility bills through this crisis. Contributions raised through the parish GoFundMe page will benefit that parish.
Cardinal Tobin has waived the usual archdiocesan assessment for contributions raised through this initiative. GoFundMe does not charge a platform fee (0%). There is a 0% platform fee and only an industry-standard payment processing fee of 1.9% + $0.30 per donation. If a charity receives a donation of $100, they will net $97.80. Donors will also have the option to tip GoFundMe Charity to support their continued business.
Thank you for your generosity to your parish and to those parish communities unable to meet their critical needs alone.
